-3p=2%2B5p-10 Subtract 10 from both sides.


-3p-5p=2-10 Subtract 5p from both sides.


-8p=2-10 Combine like terms on the left side.


-8p=-8 Combine like terms on the right side.


p=%28-8%29%2F%28-8%29 Divide both sides by -8 to isolate p.


p=1 Reduce.
