the distance is the same on either side of the centre.

From the centre to (2,-1) we have moved 6 units in the x-direction and -8 units in the y-direction.

So, in the other direction, we need to go -6 units in the x-direction and 8 units in the y-direction... Hence

x: -4-6 --> -10
y: 7+8 --> 15

so point is (-10,15)
