You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sqrt of 48 can be written as (16*3)= 4(sqrt3)
sqrt of 12 can be written as (4*3) = 2(sqrt3)
subtracting the above simplified forms,
we get ,2(sqrt3) and this is the answer.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sqrt(48) - sqrt(12)
sqrt(2*2*3*2*2) - sqrt(2*2*3)
4*sqrt(3) - 2*sqrt(3)
sqrt(3)(4 - 2)
2*sqrt(3)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
SQRT48=SQRT16*3 & THE SQRT16*3=4SQRT3 REMOVING THE SQRT OF 16=4 OUTSIDE THE SQRT.
THEN THE SQRT12=SQRT4*3 OR 2SQRT3 REMOVING THE SQRT OF 4=2 OUTSIDE THE SQRT.
SUBTRACTING 2SQRT3 FROM 4SQRT3 WE GET 2SQRT3
