Question 54385: Can someone help me work out this problem?
I need to graph the following equation
y = 3/4x + 2
You have a graph from the top in the middle is y on the line going through the middle and on the right side is the x
Can you graph this problem?

You can put this solution on YOUR website! This equation is in slope intercept where m=slope= and (0,b)=y-intercept (where the line crosses the y-axis). has a y-intercept (0,b)=(0,2) and slope=m=3/4.
Plot (0,2) from that point use your slope m=3/4 and rise up 3 and run right 4. Plot your second point there. (It should be (4,4) if you did it right.)
Connect the dots and you have a graph that looks like:
Happy Calculating!!!
