When working with Abs. Val. you need to remember that there has to be 2 answers.
So you have to work it twice, once positive, once negative.
+y=-3abs%28x%29-3+
+y+=+-3x-3+ and +y+=+-%28-3x-3%29+
+y+=+-3x-3+ and +y+=+3x+%2B+3+
When you graph these two lines, they will form a "V"
