Question 542416: I know this is probably a strange question, but I hope you can help. Is there any way you can provide me with a complicated-looking math equation to which "19" is the correct answer? We want to get our math-major son (turning 19 this month) a unique cake ... and thought an equation in icing might be a little less trite than a simple "Happy 19th Birthday." Obviously, neither my husband nor I are math people.
Please let me know if you're able to help, and thank you in advance! -- Kim

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
We thought of gifting you a special cake never designed before.
The radius of the cake is 36 inches
The height of cake without icing is 18.63 inches
The icing volume has to be 2% of the volume of the cake (without the icing.)
Find the icing thickness and the total height of the cake.(pi=3.14)
For all calculations take only the first two digits after decimal.
do not round off
Wish your son a great future.

How about 10011 (19 in binary numeral system)?
x%5E2-38x%2B361=0?
sqrt%28361%29?
%28sqrt%2818%29%2Bi%29%28sqrt%2818%29-i%29?
Wait! I can simplify that last one
%283sqrt%282%29%2Bi%29%283sqrt%282%29-i%29
That was really simplifying it(in algebreeze).
