Remember the "quotient rule" for logarithms! log%28M%2FN%29+=+logM+-+logN
Applying this rule to your problem, you get:
ln%28x%2Fe%29+=+ln%28x%29+-+ln%28e%29 but ln(e) = 1, so:
ln%28x%2Fe%29+=+ln%28x%29+-+1
