Multiply both sides by 15 and we get 15-10y=27-3y%2B9, which simplifies to 15-10y=36-3y. Adding 10y to both sides yields 15=36%2B7y. Subtracting 36 from both sides and get -21=7y. Finally divide both sides by 7 to get y=-3.
