You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
x-1 = sqrt(6x + 10)
(x-1)^2 = (sqrt(6x + 10))^2
x^2-2x+1 = 6x+10
x^2-2x+1 - 6x-10 = 0
x^2-8x-9 = 0
(x-9)(x+1) = 0
x-9=0 or x+1=0
x=9 or x=-1
So the possible solutions are x=9 or x=-1
However, checking the possible solutions only gives us the true solution to be x = 9 (I'll let you do the check)
So the only solution is x = 9
