Question 541063: The question says:
Evaluate the following function for the given value.
If f(x) = x^2/3 − 5x^1/3 − 125. Find f(−125).
When I tried to solve this I got: 100-5(sqrt5)
The problem states the answer MUST be an exact number, but I cannot get it down to a single number.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
you have two fractional exponents

(-125)^1/3 = -5 ___ ^1/3 is the cube root

(-125)^2/3 = [(-125)^1/3]^2 = (-5)^2 = 25
