You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(f o g)(x) = f(g(x))

It means first find the value of g(x), then plug that as the variable into f(x).

g(x) = x-2

That's the only value given for g(x), in other words there's no x to plug into g(x) to spit out a number. So substitute x-2 into f(x).

f(g(x)) = f(x-2) = (2(x-2))/(x-2-3) = (2x-4)/(x-5)

Please help me solve this equation: Given the functions f(x)=(2x)/(x-3)
and g(x)=x-2 find a formula, in simplest form, for f०g(x).
f(x)=2x/(x-3) and g(x)=x-2 find a formula, in simplest form, for (f०g)(x).
f०g(x) means to substitute the right side of g(x) for x in the right side of f(x)

f(x) = 2x%2F%28x-3%29, g(x) = x-2

Substitute the right side of g(x), which is (x-2),
for x in the right side of f(x).

f०g(x) = 2%28x-2%29%2F%28%28x-2%29-3%29

Then simplify:

f०g(x) = 2%28x-2%29%2F%28x-2-3%29

f०g(x) = 2%28x-2%29%2F%28x-5%29
