You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let one number be x
other number will be x+2
x(x+2)=x^2+10
x^2+2x=x^2+10
-x^2
2x=10
/2
x=5
5 & 7 are the numbers

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Call the consecutive odd numbers n and n%2B2
given:
+n%2A%28+n+%2B+2+%29+=+n%5E2+%2B+10+
+n%5E2+%2B+2n+=+n%5E2+%2B+10+
Subtract +n%5E2+ from both sides
+2n+=+10+
+n+=+5+
+n+%2B+2+=+7+
The numbers are 5 and 7
check:
+5%2A%28+5+%2B+2+%29+=+5%5E2+%2B+10+
+5%2A7+=+25+%2B+10+
+35+=+35+
OK
