You can put this solution on YOUR website! There's a typing error on number 3, let me know what you meant for that one and I'll edit this response.
The goal is to get the x all by itself on one side of the equal sign. This will tell you what number x would have to be in order to make both sides equal each other. What ever we need to move we do the opposite operation to it on both sides of the = sign, for example if something is being added and you want to move it it would be subtracted from both sides of the equation, if it were being multiplied, you'd divide it, ect.
Another tip is:
Any number divided by itself is 1.
