The easiest way is to pick 3 values for x and then solve for y:
(any three value will work)
If x = -1 then y = -2 because
y=2*(x)
y=2*(-1)
y=-2
Plot the point (-1,-2)
If x=0, then y=0 because
y=2*x
y=2(0)
y=0
Plot the point (0,0)
Draw a line that extends through these two points
Verify it with a third point:
If x=1, then y=2 because
y=2(x)
y=2(1)
y=2
The point (1,2) should also be on the line you drew.
