You can
put this solution on YOUR website!
Graph both y=-x+4 and y=2x+7 on the same coordinate axis.
Now because y=-x+4 if x<-1, this means that y=-x+4 is only drawn when x is less than -1. So erase the piece on y=-x+4 that's to the right of x=-1
Similarly, since y=2x+7 if x>/-1, you're going to erase the piece that's to the left of x=-1 on y=2x+7
Doing this will give you the graph shown below
Note: the green piece is the portion "y=-x+4 if x<-1" and the red piece is the portion "y=2x+7 if x>/-1"
