then
(x+4) = the denominator
:

Cross multiply
2(x+1) = (x+5)
2x + 2 = x + 5
2x - x = 5 - 2
x = 3 is the numerator
then
3+4 = 7 is the denominator
and
3%2F7 is the original fraction
