You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Janet can shovel snow in her driveway in 65 minutes, Tom can do the same job in 45 mins. How long will it take if they work together?
.
Let x = time (mins) it takes for both
then
x(1/65 + 1/45) = 1
multiply both sides by (65)(45):
x(45 + 65) = (65)(45)
x(110) = 2925
x = 26.6 minutes
