You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To multiply (b+4)*(b+4) use FOIL - First times first, outside times outside, inside times inside, last times last.

But before doing that write out exactly what is here.

%28%28b%2B4%29%2F2%29%5E2+=+%28%28b%2B4%29%28b%2B4%29%29%2F%282%2A2%29

%283%2F%28b%2B4%29%29%5E3+=+%283%2A3%2A3%29%2F%28b%2B4%29%28b%2B4%29%28b%2B4%29

Notice that two of the (b+4)'s in the denominator cancel with the two (b+4)'s in the numerator.

27%2F4%28b%2B4%29

Check by setting b to something (try b=0). Check it in the original equation and in the answer. Don't use b=-4, because the expression is undefined when b=-4.
