y=(1/4)x
compare the equations
the slopes are not the same so lines are not parallel
..
slope of first line = 4
slope of second line = 1/4
m1* m2 = 4*1/4 = 1
If the lines are perpendicular m1*m2 mustbe equal to -1.
So the lines are not perpendicular
