Remember, for absolute value equations you must solve two equations:
|x|=y then x=y and x=-y.
|x+7|+10=6 first isolate the absolute value by subtracting 10 from both sides.
|x+7|=-4. Go no further. An absolute value cannot have a negative value. This equation has no solution.
