Question 533619: So I've been working on this word problem for about an hour and I'm not getting it at all. Here it is:
"A hybrid car averages 601 miles on a 12.2 gallon tank of gas. Manuel is planning a 1280-mile vacation in his hybrid car. Find how many gallons of gas he can expect to burn."
If you guys could help me, that would be awesome.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
In units alone:
( gallons / mile ) x miles = gallons
+%28+12.2+%2F+601+%29%2A1280+=+25.98+
He will burn 25.98 gallons
