Question 532229: I'm trying to find the scale factor of angles in a similar pair of polygons. My teacher didn't explain how to do this, and now I'm lost. The notes that the teacher handed out said something about proportions, but I can't figure it out. Can you help me?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
similar polygons have equal corresponding angles ___ the scale factor is for the sides

all of the corresponding sides (the sides in the same locations relative to the angles of the similar polygons)
are in the same proportion

the scale factor IS the proportion

all squares are similar polygons because they have equal corresponding angles AND the scale factor is the same for all the corresponding sides
___ if one side of a square is twice as big as the side of another square, then all of the sides are twice as big
