The diagonal of a square is the hypotenuse of a right triangle.
The Pythagorean Theorem can be used to solve this problem.
c^2 = a^2 + b^2
c^2 = 7^2 + 7^2
c^2 = 98
c = sqrt(98)
c = 7*sqrt(2) = approximately 9.89949494
