You can put this solution on YOUR website! Formula of the midpoint is (x + x1)/2 and (y + y1)/2
if midpoint (2, 7) and other point (5,12) are given, then replace the values in the formula as:
for X: (5 + x)/2 = 2; 5 + x = 4; x= 4 - 5; x=-1
For Y: (12 + y)/2 = 7; 12 + y = 14; y=14-12; y=2
other point is (-1, 2).
