You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Please help me. I am confused. How do I solve these by factoring?
3x^2 -2x = 0
Factor out x
x(3x - 2) = 0
Two solutions
x = 0
and
3x = 2
x = 2%2F3
:
and
9x^2 - 1 = 0
This is the difference of squares
(3x + 1)(3x -1) = 0
Two solutions
3x = -1
x = -1%2F3
and
x = 1%2F3
