You can put this solution on YOUR website! You need to fix in your mind that
per cent means "per one-hundred"
Think of the % sign as saying: you need to
divide this number by 100.

Suppose I say 67%
% means to divide it by 100, so
what I really have is 67/100 = .67
------------------------
Another problem you will see is:
convert .67 to a percent
The algebra for this is
.67 = x/100
This says: .67 is what percent ?
Multiply both sides by 100
67 = x, so
67/100 = 67 percent
