You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Red=r and Blue=b
First equation
R + B = 180
180/2=90 + 32=122 Red marble
180-122= 58 blue marbles
122+58=180 marbles

lorens marble jar contains red and blue marbles. if there are 32 more red than blue marbles and 180 total marbles in the jar, how many of each color does loren have?

Let the amount of blue marbles be B

Then there are B + 32 red marbles

We can now say that B + B + 32 = 180

2B + 32 = 180

2B = 180 - 32

2B = 148

B, or amount of blue marbles = 148%2F2 or highlight_green%2874%29

Amount of red marbles = 180 - 74, or highlight_green%28106%29
