Question 527923: what is the formula to this question "the height f(h) of an object in feet when you know the height (h) in inches
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) About Me  (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1 foot = 12 inches

12 inches = 1 foot

1 inch = 1/12 foot

h inches = h/12 feet

So if you have h inches, then it converts to h/12 feet.

Therefore, the formula is f%28h%29+=+h%2F12
