I assume all these people work at the same rate
4 people working 3 days can paint 1 house
1 person takes 4 times as long to paint the house, so
1 person takes 12 days to paint the house
5 people will take 1/5 of that time to paint the house
5 people will take 12/5 days, or 2.4 days to paint the house
