You can put this solution on YOUR website!
First you'll need to find the infusion rate in ml. per minute.
Here's how:
(24 gtt/min)/(15 gtt/ml) = 1.6 gtt/min.
Starting with 400 ml., how long (in minutes) will it take to empty the bottle (or bag) of D5LR?
400 ml./1.6 ml./min = 250 minutes. Now convert this to hours and minutes.
250/60 = 4hrs. and 10 mins.
Finally, add this time to the the starting time of 3:30pm
3:30 + 4:10 = 7:40 pm
Does this help?
