You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The 1/2 power means it is a square root.
1/3 power would me cube root,and so on.


(3x-5)^1/2=2
Square root taken to the other side becomes square.
3x-5=4
3x=4+5
3x=9
x=3


Thus x=3.
