You can put this solution on YOUR website! Find the equation of a line that: passes through the point (0,4) and is parallel to y= 2x - 2
y=2x-2 has a slope of "2".
The equation you want must have a slope of "2" also.
Your line passes through (0,4) so its y-intercept is 4.
Your line has the following equation: y=2x+4
