P(Both got C's) = P(One student got a C)*P(Another student got a C)

P(Both got C's) = 0.6 * 0.6 .... Note: 0.6 is the decimal equivalent of 60%


P(Both got C's) = 0.36


So the probability that both got C's or better is 36%
