Do you know the general form or standerd form of the linear equation:
Y=mx%2Bc
So in U'r case
2x-4y=8
-4y= 8-2x
y= (-2x + 8)/-4
= 1/2x - 2
So U'r equation is
+y+=+1%2F2x+-+2
where 1/2 is slope and , -2 is y intercept
