Question 521093: using exponents I have a story problem that I am not sure on how to do it. For each number in exponential notation, identify the base, exponent, and power. Use a calculator to write each number in standard form. Question is as follows: A typical kid watches between 18^4 television advertisements between birth and high school graduation. What is the base, exponent, power and standard form. I think the base would be 18, the exponent is 4, the power is 18x4 but what is the standard form?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I think the "power" is the 4th. And standard form is just the number multiplied out -- a little over 100,000 -- use your calculator.

My calculator said it, I believe it, that settles it
