Trick question. You didn't define "expenses" I count the candles purchased as expenses, so you can't specify the number to sell exactly unless you are trying to find the amount to purchase and then sell so that you have no possibility of making any profit.

If you purchase candles and sell candles such that the number purchased is equal to the number sold:





So, in order to make any money at all you have to buy and sell at least 26 candles. That makes you 4 bucks.
