Mean: the sum of all the digits / the number of digits

Median: the middle number 
between 2.1 and 2.5 
(2.1 + 2.5)/2 = 2.3 
Mode: the most occuring one 
2.5 appears three times = 2.5 
Yes, the mean can represent this type of data.
