Question 518954: I am trying to figure out synthetic division for this problem and am having difficulties. This is the problem and what I have though I know it is incorrect. Can you help me with it please.
Using sythetic division find the quotient and remainder when the first polynomial is divided by the second. -2^2+2x+2, x-5
This is what I have
2|2 +2+2-5
-4 4-10
8-6-8-5.
I've never done it before as you can tell. Help please.
