I have to convert the below word problem into a math problem, and solve it.
I tried: "5x + 10(x + 36) + 25(x + 60) = 11860 or 5x + 10x + 360 + 25x + 1500 = 11860 or 40x = 1860" but that didn't work...
The problem is:
"A vending machine contains $118.60 worth of coins. If there are 24 more quarters than dimes and 36 more dimes than nickels, how many of each coin are in the machine?"

You can put this solution on YOUR website! 5X+10(X+36)+25(X+60)=11860 OR 5X+10X+360+25X+1500=11860 OR
40X+1860=11860 40X=10000 OR X=250 NICKELS THEN THERE ARE 25+6=31 DIMES &
25+60=85 QUARTERS
PROOF 25*5+31*10+85*25=11860 OR 1250+2860+7750=11860 OR 11860=11860
