Question 515240: I have not been in any math class for 6 years, so I am having some trouble. I'm not sure if ^ means exponent
1010^2
x 101^2
I'm pretty sure that is how you write it. When I am working on the equation (I am use to the 2 in the upper section, NOT the lower) I am taking 1010 x 1010 which I get 1,020,100. Then I take 101x101=10,201, finally I multiply 1,020,100x10,201=1.04060401x10^10. Is this even in the same ball park?

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If those are exponents, your answer is correct, except it's *10^8
= 104060401
-----------
(I am use to the 2 in the upper section, NOT the lower)
That makes me think the numbers are binary
1010 * 101 binary = 10*5 decimal = 50
50 in binary is 110010
-----------
The same ball park as what?
