10+1/3 (1 +x) +{2-(4x-7)} when the signal of less is before the parentheses it will change all the signals of the numbers inside the parentheses
10+1/3 (1+x) + {2-4x+7}
10+1/3 (1+x) + {9-4x}
10+ (1+x)/3 +9-4x
make the denominators equal multiplying the denominators and numerators by the same number. REMEMBER: when you dont see the denominator it is 1
so in this case just multiply by 3
30/3 + (1+x)/3 + 27/3 - 12x/3
when all the denominators are equals we can delet them
30+1+x+27-12x
