You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If a ≠ 0 and the sum of x and 1/a is 0, then we know that x%2B1%2Fa=0

Solving for x, we get x=-1%2Fa

Solving for 'a', we get 1%2Fa=-x ----> 1=-ax ----> a=-1%2Fx

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x + 1/a = 0
.
x = -1/a
.
Done.
