Question 514041: Please help I have no idea what this is asking me.
If the opposite sides of a quadrilateral are parallel, then it is a parellologram. Use the slope to determine whether the points (-2,4),(-1,1), (3,3) and (2,5) are the vertices of a parallelogram. is this a true statement or not.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If the opposite sides of a quadrilateral are parallel, then it is a parellologram. Use the slope to determine whether the points (-2,4),(-1,1), (3,3) and (2,5) are the vertices of a parallelogram. is this a true statement or not.
--------------
1st: plot the points.
2nd: draw line segments between points that look like the
resulting fugure would be a quadrilateral.
3rd: Calculate the slope of opposite sides.
If the slopes of opposite sides are equal the figure
is a parallogram.
