Question 51394This question is from textbook
: I am trying to figure out the GCF of the product: (3b+6)(2b-10). I came up with 6b^2 -60 and 8b^2-40b. 2,3,5,& 6 are my choices. This question is from textbook
You can put this solution on YOUR website! First we have to multiply them or FOIlL them to get 6b^2-18b-60. Now we have to factor and find the GCF. The GCF would be 6 so we get 6(b^2-3b-10). So if you were just looking for the GCF it would be 6. If you were looking to factor the whole thing then the answer would be 6(b+2)(b-5). Hope this helps!!!
