You can put this solution on YOUR website!
How many solutions will a system of linear equations have if the lines have the same slope but different y-intercepts
THAT IS THE LINES ARE PARALLEL,AND DIFFERENT ..SO THEY DO NOT INTERSECT..HENCE THERE IS NO POINT SATISFYING BOTH..SO NO SOLUTION

, the lines have different slopes,
THEN THE LINES WILL INTERSECT AT ONE POINT ...HENCE ONE UNIQUE SOLUTION
and the lines have the same slope and the same y-intercept?
THAT IS THE LINES ARE PARALLEL,AND IDENTICAL ..SO THEY COINCIDE..HENCE THERE ARE INFINITE POINTS SATISFYING BOTH..SO INFINITE SOLUTIONS
