SOLUTION: Hi, can you help me please with this equation?
Square root of (3x+10) = x+2
Upon solving, I got x= -3 and x= 2.
When I plugged in the roots, I did not get the check for x= -3

Square root of (-9+10) = -3+2
1 = -1 which is FALSE; thus, x = -3 is NOT the solution. And only x = 2 is the solution. Is that right or not? Please help me answer this question and tell me if x = -3 is or is NOT the solution?
