Question 512599: My number has seven tens and five thousands. It has double the number of ones as hundreds. The sum of the digits is 15. This is an word problem for 2nd grAde Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
The thousands digit is 5 and the tens digit is 7. 7 plus 5 is 12, that means the hundreds digit plus the ones digit must add up to 3 (15 minus 12 is 30. 2 and 1 add up to 3 and 2 is double 1. So the hundreds digit has to be 1 and the ones digit has to be 2.
