You can put this solution on YOUR website!
FIRST YOU NEED TO FIND THE LINE EQUATION FOR 3X-Y=-3 WHICH IS -Y=-3X-3 OR
Y=3X+3 THIS GIVE YOU THE SLOPE OF THIS EQUATION AS -3 & THE Y INTERCEPT OF 3
THUS THE PERPENDICULAR LINE RUNNING THROUGH (2,-1) HAS A SLOPE OF -1/3
-1=-1/3*2+B THEN -1=-2/3+B OR -1+2/3=B OR B=-1/3
THUS THE EQUATION FOR THE LINE THROUGH (2,-1) AND PERPENDICULAR TO 3X-Y=-3 IS Y=-1/3X-1/3
