To find the rate in dresses per day or dresses/day, you just divide
dresses by days and get 

%281_dress%29%2F%2810_days%29=+expr%281%2F10%29dress%2Fday 

So in six days she can sew 6%2F10ths of a dress or 3%2F5ths of a dress.
