You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y =3x -4
y-3x=-4 .............1
y = 4 + x ---------2
Substitute y in (1)
-3 x + 1(4+x ) = -4
-3 x + 4 + 1 x = -4
-3 x + x = -4 -4
-2 x = -8
/ -2
x= 4
Plug the value of x in (1)
-3 x + y = -4
-3 * 4 + y = -4
-12 + y = -4
y = 8
